Nadene Brunk Eads School

Est. 2017

For more than 15 years, the Nadene Brunk Eads School of Midwifery trained Haitian nurses to become Trained Birth Attendants. More than 240 graduates now serve across Haiti, representing over 30 percent of the country’s skilled birth workers.

The school has been paused for the past two years due to the state of the nation. Yet its impact continues every day through the hundreds of graduates providing care in hospitals, clinics, and rural communities.

It remains our deepest hope to reopen as soon as conditions allow. The need for skilled healthcare workers in Haiti has never been greater. When it is safe to gather students again, the next generation of Haitian midwives will be ready to step forward.
