The clinic is located at Midwives for Haiti's headquarters, where patients are transported from nearby internally displaced persons (IDP) camps to receive care in a safe, secure environment. During their visit, each patient is provided with two nutritious meals, helping address the food insecurity many displaced families face.
The Camp Clinic provides prenatal and postpartum care, family planning, newborn and pediatric care, treatment for common illnesses, mental health support, and health education. A dedicated pediatrician ensures children receive specialized care, making the clinic a trusted resource for the entire family. For many displaced families, it is their only consistent source of healthcare.
By removing barriers to care and providing a place of safety, nourishment, and healing, the Camp Clinic ensures that mothers, babies, and families continue to receive the compassionate care they need despite the challenges of displacement.
